Cannot like that postâŚsimply cannotâŚwhere is the âI was shockedâ or âhorrifying yet interestingâ button?
I told everyone it was a bad idea to teach dolphins to use power tools.
Stupidest timeline.
I asked ChatGPT to write a haiku about Godzilla. In Latin. It returned this:
Deus reptilis surge
Civitates destruit omnes
Terras obtinuit
Pretty amazing. Remember when bots would be forced to watch hours of Batman movies or Olive Garden commercials to produce funny and nonsensical stories? AI has matured a lot since then.
I have been using ChatGPT a lot to explain a lot of the confusing systems in Path of Exile the past month, and it does a really good job of it.
Itâs fun and amusing to ask it produce random content (I asked for a paragraph beginning with âIt was a dark and stormy nightâ written in the style of Douglas Adams, as well as a poem in iambic pentameter about children with chicken pox) but the practical applications for this are truly exciting. Example:
Ok, that was a pretty cool read.
I love how it can revise itself. I actually caught it saying something about PoE last week that I knew to be incorrect and I asked about it, and then it acknowledged the mistake and then revised the answer.
That is important for two reasons, it obviously can learn, and it CAN make mistakes still.
Canât stop playing around with this. I asked it for a summary of one of my favorite Heinlein novels (Starship Troopers) in less than 140 words. It took 109. Then I asked it to condense the summary to 50 words or less. Finally, I asked it to rewrite the summary in the style of a Donald Trump tweet.
âJust read âStarship Troopersâ by Heinlein. Wow, great book! Talks about war against bad hombre Bugs. Main character joins military, big winner. Talks about being human, citizenship, government. So good, very controversial. Highly recommend #MAGA #winningâ
I keep looking for famous people in the photographs, to help me identify the year, but there are none.
I do not know if we all get the same pictures, I scored 1976.
Thanks for the link
'Merica.
I would say that ruling is unbelievable, but itâs sadly very believable.
Yeah, thatâs scary on multiple levels. That much more likely for abusers to kill the abused not to mention police responding to domestic abuse calls can be dangerous for everyone. Itâs hard the create and enforce reasonable gun laws when government is unreasonable.
