Ah, tycoon games. Games that I want to love so much and put down so quickly.
I believe my problem is that I want tight control over my creations; I want things to be laid out the way I want, look the way I want, function the way I want, etc. What I want is a sandbox. Yet sandboxes don't have the gaminess of a tycoon game. It's a cyclical love/hate relationship. I wanted to love MM, but once I got in to it and saw how many levels of decisions there were, and realized that I actually had to lose before I won, I started to get lost.
I'm going to try Jurassic World Evolution this weekend (more on that to come), so I'm hoping that scratches my tycoon itch as I've read it is slightly less complex than others in the genre.
