Tense it was. I suspect that a one pip difference on a die at the end would have given @hardco the win. But of course it is about the whole game. I had done most of my scoring with turns to go and @hardco had a whole heap of potential making up 40 points or so in the last few turns - played with style. @zen4one had a tough start but so very nearly managed to catch @jason1002 in another close finish.
The scores don’t show how close it was for everyone. I’m pretty sure everyone was within 10 points up until the last few turns when @robthomasson pulled away. Well played!
Thanks for the game. Our map had many small areas and no large ones— so no one could score big points at the end for completing a large area. That threw me off a bit. (Also the dice)
Lol! I’ll ask around to see who wants to run the tourney. Believe it or not, I just learned the game. Have only played it once, am on my second game, but I like it a lot.
and i think we should play 3 rounds (like in the first two championships), not only 2.
16 players would be a perfect fit.
four 4P tables > first two players on each table go to two 4P semifinals > first two players in each semifinal go to 4P final table.
